Jennifer & Jeff's Storybook Album
It came in last week and was barely here a day before it was picked up. I love that I can get these albums to my clients so fast (they just got married in August!!!). I guess that's a big advantage to hiring a photographer that does weddings-only!

Here are some pictures of it. I LOVE the classy look of the first page:

Booked another wedding!
Welcome to Melissa & Craig, my newest clients. They are planning a 2008 summer wedding and I enjoyed hearing about all the details. It sounds so fabulous, and of course I will post pics of it right here.

I can only photograph one wedding a day, so click here to see if your date is available.

Nice note from Rebecca, who got married last weekend:

When we came back from the honeymoon, I was checking the blog the moment we walked in the door at 1:30 in the morning. I could not wait to check and see what you had put up so far. I am so excited because those were so good. I can't wait to see the rest, I know they will be great!!!!

Thank you again,

Rebecca

I have the nicest clients! And I'm so busy with weddings that I have a lot to show you. Stay tuned for more albums, and more wedding and engagement pics!
The must-have Custom Guest Book
Here's another look at Rebecca & Jeremy's custom guest book from last week:

These are the latest-greatest and are a big hit! Each engagement session includes the option of adding your own custom guest book. They include your photos and can be designed in so many different ways. They have a brown or black cover and the pages can be however you want them. I love that not only do the guests enjoy looking at the engagement pictures, but that this ends up being a memory book that the couples keep out to enjoy.

Rebecca & Jeremy went for all black and white photos; see their super-cool guest book here (before the signatures were added).

Now that the weather is getting reasonable, it's a great time to do a downtown Louisville engagement session!

Downtown Louisville Engagement Session
Heather and Luke looked like they had tons of fun walking around downtown, holding hands, kissing, etc, etc! They are both carefree and laugh a lot and that sure makes for great pictures. I'm looking forward to the Big Day in June!

More pics from Mindy & James
Here is their collage-- I'm working on their Storybook Album and I will post it here when it's complete. And don't you just love the fall colors? (click on image to enlarge.)

Rebecca & Jeremy
I've been looking forward to this day all year! Rebecca & Jeremy are both such incredibly warm people. During dinner, they walked around to say hi to all the guests and were so gracious to everyone. And do they know how to parrrrrtyyyy!!! Their reception was a major dance-blast and I had a great time watching the show on the dance floor. (Do I have a fun job, or what?)

Having two photographers is such a bonus: These first two pictures were taken at the same time:

Rebecca shedding a few happy tears after reading a love note from Jeremy (he also gave her some diamond earrings!)

Jeremy trying to keep it together while looking at Rebecca's gift to him.

The girls having fun during picture-taking time. You'll see Ashley, far right, when she walks down the aisle next year. Flowers by A Touch of Elegance.

The guys being absolutely crazy! (I learned not to ask questions.) And that's favorite nephew Andrew in front.

Another one of my custom guest books in use. It's an album I design that has their engagement photos in it and is sure to be quite the keepsake for years and years.

Some alone time right after the ceremony.

Jeremy was being goaded by the crowd to smash it, but he was a true gentleman. Cake and catering by Savor This.

Kicking off the party-- they did the dance from Thriller by Michael Jackson-- what a hoot! The reception was at 300 Spring.

Jeremy and the guys doing the routine from Greased Lightning.

Rebecca and the girls having a good 'ol time! All this dance floor action delighted Underproduction Videographers--what a fun video that will be!

Can't wait to show you more pictures and their Storybook Album. Check back soon!

New Album Design!
This is Kelly & Stephen's completely custom Storybook Album design. Each one I make is as unique as the day itself. I love how they really do tell a story. And I almost always find a place for the invitation, too! Here are some 2-page spreads from the design:

The final album will have a glove leather cover with a photo of their choice on the front. And each page is nonbendable and lacquer-protected. Check out the complete design here-- -and see if the first page doesn't make you say 'awwww'!
Booked another wedding!
Welcome to Liz & Curtis, my newest Liz Images clients, who are planning a sweet and intimate wedding next month. Liz & I really clicked and I can't wait to be there on her day!
Christy & Tristan's Storybook Album
It came in two weeks ago and I didn't want to let it go. Their book captures all the romance of their day-- it's hard to believe I was only there a few hours. (Thats right, I will customize packages to fit your day!)

See the rest of their album here.

Another engagement session
Meet Matt & Alli, who are getting married in June. We went to Cherokee Park and I wanted to capture how sweet they are to each other. Don't they look adorable together?

Aleisa & Josh have been married for one year!

They are both the sweetest people and it was so great so document their wedding day. As I got to know them, I learned that their little dog Maggie is very special to them. In fact, I went out to Aleisa's house for the engagement session just so I could include Maggie in some of the pictures! So when it came time to design their album, I found a way to include a photo of Maggie. See her in their Storybook Album here. And Happy Anniversary!!!

Holly & Dustin
Saturday was like a dream-- and I woke up Sunday smiling because it was REAL! Holly & Dustin had an absolutely awesome wedding day and I'm so happy for them. I got to know them through Karen & Greg's and Kelly & Stephen's wedding.

The wedding was at Bernheim Forest:

The ceremony was next to the lake.

What perfect weather--- and they had pumpkins scattered about.

A kiss in the horse & carriage right after becoming Mr & Mrs.

A sweet moment with Holly and Darbie.

Holly & the girls being silly. Love the fall colors against the brown dresses. And Holly's mom made all the flowers.

They had so much fun taking romantic pictures all around the park.

Dustin said he loves kissing photos!

In their own private world for their first dance.

Congratulations to you both! I can't wait to start working on all your photos.

This is Stephanie & Danny's happy and carefree photo session in Cherokee Park. They have such amazing chemistry together and I'm looking forward to their Big Day next Spring!
