Anna & Jimmy's Storybook Album design!
I'm so glad for Anna- it was the kind of day every girl dreams of for her wedding-- quite the fairytale.... Such a joy to photograph, too.

I love how these books can be as custom as people want. Anna & Jimmy are going to add some words to their album- it's going to be so cool. I'll show the completed design later.

I'm working on their Storybook Album design right now and there are SO many fun shots. The ceremony was very pretty and the reception was an out-and-out bash! When I came home from it I told Steve he needs to take me out dancing!

Kelly & Stephen
Pinkie (my amazing assistant) and I were so excited to be a part of their day. We photographed sister Karen's wedding in June and loved seeing everybody again. We had so much fun!!!

I appreciate that my job lets me be creative each and every day. An example is that Saturday's church was very modern so there was no stained glass, windows, pews or fancy altars. So I found this awesome light in a hallway. It was so perfect that I have to show you two from there:

Katie & Mike's Storybook Album
They were married on June 23rd and their album is here already-- yay!!! I have heard so many horror stories over the years about brides waiting forEVER for pictures.... Well, that doesn't happen here. I do weddings-only so that I can get the pictures and albums to my clients FAST!

Wow-- I've booked so many weddings that this Fall I will do a record-breaking number of engagement sessions. I have just about everybody scheduled but if you want to add a session (or upgrade to a bigger package) just let me know. I have very little time left on October weekends but I am free on weekdays. We can also shoot downtown anytime the weather is above 55 degrees.

Booked another wedding the other day....
A warm welcome to Brittany and Jay who are getting married in Spring 2008. Jay made my day when he mentioned how impressed he is that I do weddings only. I am one of the very few people in town who do weddings exclusively (no day job, no photographing babies, pets, etc.). I love to focus on one thing-- and it also means my clients get their photos and albums quickly!!! Anyway, Brittany & Jay are a very fun couple and I am looking forward to their engagement session later this year. I'll be sure to post some pics here.

Bethany & Doug are Mr & Mrs!
I have been looking forward to this day ever since I did their engagement pictures-- such a fun couple they are. Here's a peek at their pics:

An absolutely stunning dress- it's all about getting to the church early to see the dress hanging up and all the details.











It was well worth it to have a rep from Rebecca's do all the lacing up.

Great lighting by the stained glass at St. Margaret Mary-- and Bethany was as relaxed as could be. Flowers by Country Squire.

The fabulous bridesmaids. They were awesome all day-- AND they arrived on time, dressed and ready! Way to go, girls! (I just had to be a bridesmaid too, if only for a moment!)

So now Bethany and Doug are soaking up the sun in Maui. I will be working on their photos and posting more soon, so check back.

Melissa & Josh's Storybook Album is here!
I know they are thrilled and just cannot wait to get it. How awesome to be married barely three months and have the album already.... And, this is my first album with the oh-so-touchable black suede cover. It looks very rich and plush. This is the one that has their engagement photos in it-- and it even has chapters!

Rebecca & Jeremy's Custom Guest Book
This is my newest latest-greatest offering: a custom guest book with YOUR engagement photos in it! Each book has a leather cover in brown or black, 20 or 30 nonbendable pages and is as unique as you wish. You can include words, a special phrase, and the pages can be any color that you want, and with or without lines.




Rebecca & Jeremy went with all black and white photos and a solid white background with the black cover. They chose their wedding date on the front cover (or you could choose your names). Anyway, I love that these books are something that newlyweds will leave out to enjoy over and over.

Another New Storybook Album Design!
Each album is custom-designed from the ground up and as unique as the day itself. That's what I LOVE so much about making these-- they are all so different. This is Karen & Spencer's initial design. They knew from the beginning that they were meant to be and their joy shows in all their pictures!!!

Booked another wedding today!
A big welcome to Heather and Luke who are planning a 2008 wedding. She and her mom have been emailing and talking to me on the phone about her Big Day for a while now. TWO other couples were in line for the date, so I hated to have to turn them away.... But, there is only one of me so it's a good idea to book early! I am just about half-booked for 2008 so be sure to check my availability.

And a big thank you to Melissa & Josh and her mom Julia who told Heather & Luke about me! I don't do any bridal shows and very little advertising. Instead I focus on keeping my current clients happy so that I can get all this good referral business....! Thank you to everybody for getting my referrals up to an amazing 80%!

Lindsey & Robbie have their album already!
She just picked it up yesterday and she and her mom will be busy showing it off to everyone! I really aim to please and I know quick turnaround is a big part of keeping people happy.... Lindsey & Robbie celebrate their third month anniversary next week-- so I know they are thrilled to have their Storybook Album so soon!!!
