The next Storybook Album....
I'm working on Jessica & Ryan's wedding pictures right now and will post a collage from their day soon. Here's one of the many romantic photos that caught my eye. It reminds me of something from a movie scene!

Check back soon for their collage. And theirs will be the next Storybook album that I design!

Booked another wedding today!
Welcome to Laura and Alan who are getting married this Fall. Like several of my 2007 couples they both live out of state. That's another good thing about this blog-- everything is right here including every single Storybook Album I have designed since January 2006! So if you have some free time and want some ideas for wedding cakes, flowers or bridesmaids dresses, feel free to browse around the archives. Here's Kim & Brian's wedding album from last Fall.

Bjorn and Debbie are Mr & Mrs!
They got married on the best day of the year-- sunny, warm and blue skies. And the weather was only the beginning of their perfect wedding day. Everything looked fabulous, and everyone in the wedding party was so great to work with. Here is a sneak preview of their pictures:

The wedding and reception took place at The Olmsted, which looked absolutely magnificent.
Wildflowers
did a phenomenal job with the florals and decorations.

Debbie was calm, cool, and collected in her wedding dress that looked like it was made just for her.

The color theme was chocolate brown with blue accents!

Bjorn was relaxed but excited to see his bride.

All the guys!

A warm and romantic ceremony....

The whole wedding party- check out the little ones in front!

So much chemistry between these two....

One of the best First Dances I've seen. He would hold her, twirl her around, and then bring her back in close.

The band was Kentucky Blend and they kept the dance floor packed.

Stay tuned for more pics of their day!

Went to Dinnerworks tonight
I've heard about it every year but this is the first time I've seen it.

Hand-crafted dinnerware was creatively presented with theme-inspired placemats, centerpieces and tables. Read all about it here. I went to a cocktail party there with Pinkie and Dani, the two amazing assistants, and then we went out to dinner.

Jessica & Eric's Storybook Album is here!
What a great day they had. And now they've been married less than four months and their album is here already!! Here are some photos of it:

The guys and gals were all so much fun! I like that I was able to include a photo of the location, Frazier International, in the background.

After the ceremony-- pure joy coming down the aisle!

I love kissy-shots- and wait until you see the ones of them on the roof at sunset!

The cupcake wedding cake-- what fun!

The Storybook Album is the latest-greatest top-of-the-line album. Unlike other albums with paper pages, this one is built to last, and to be passed down the family. The pages are heavy, non bendable and are lacquer sprayed for protection. And as you can see, the book opens flat.

See all of Jessica & Eric's album here.

Another rave!
In case you don't read all the comments, here's one from Ryan, who was married this past Saturday:

Thank you so much for being part of our day! You were great! We love that we can already see some of our pictures. We are so happy we chose you. You made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We both had a lot of fun. The pictures look awesome! Thanks again.

Can't wait to start on Ryan & Jessica's Storybook Album!

More photos from Jessica & Ryan's wedding
Here are some of the many details of the St. Patrick's Day wedding last Saturday:

The pastor's clover boutonnière...

Each Ringbearer wore these bowlers.

And the flowergirl had a wonderful Irish-themed dress...

The cerese and green colors of the day!

The aisle looked so pretty with these rose petals scattered along it...

An Irish Blessing and the family crests (both families have Irish ancestors).

The toasting glasses....

And there were even Celtic dancers to entertain the guests-- fun!!!

Theirs will be the next Storybook Album I will be working on. Check back for their collage, and then their album!

Jessica & Ryan's fabulous wedding day!
Having a wedding on St. Patrick's Day is all about fun, right? And it sure was! Jessica and Ryan made my day SO easy! The wedding and reception were at historic Farnsley Moreman. Here are some pics straight from the camera:

She wore fabulous shoes that were perfect with the retro/elegant dress. The girls had dresses in the same style. The colors were cerese (a pink-y mauve) and emerald.

The guys were crazy!

The ceremony included Irish touches including a hand-fasting where the bride and groom had their hands bound together.

I am so thrilled with all their romantic shots! Later I will post about the Irish details of the day! Meanwhile, check out the bonus photo of them that will be on my home page this week.

Rose & Dee's Storybook Album Design!
Well, here it is and I am so very happy with how it came out. This is the first album I have designed with the photo borders in black. I usually do white, although one wedding I did a few pages with red borders. Rose's colors were black and red so I thought the black borders around the photos would add a touch of elegance. The only place I used white was the page that starts the ceremony.

Love-love-love the getting-ready stuff!

The romance part of the day was so amazing. They saw each other before and then went straight outside. Not bad for February, don't you think?

This is my trademark- relaxed and happy group photos!

See the whole album here.
My computer's back!
Can you believe it was in the shop for-EVER? It received a new power core, new processor and new ram. So now I have my super-fast dual screen computer AND the new iMac. This should help in letting me do two things at once! Just in time for the big 2007 wedding season!!!
Booked another wedding!
Welcome to Kelly and Lonnie, authors of that sweet email I posted a couple weeks ago. We met yesterday and I loved hearing their proposal story. Lonnie surprised her Christmas morning with an engagement ring--- awwww! On their wedding day we plan to stop by Cherokee Park for some romantic photos on the way to the reception. And check back this Fall for their engagement pictures.

Kelly and Lonnie are my first 2008 clients. Yay!!! I can only do one wedding a day, so good for them for getting in while they still can. Check my dates booked to see if your date is available.

It sure is nice to be appreciated!
I talked to Debbie, Carrie's mom, on the phone today. Carrie is the latest bride to receive her Storybook Album and Debbie was telling me how everyone loved the photos. Several engaged and pre-engaged couples saw them she said my phone is sure to ring! Also, Debbie told me not to quit or retire until after after Carrie's sister gets married, which will be 4 or 5 years or so. I've had quite a few weddings like that where I have done someone in the family earlier, and that is one of the best compliments!

Also, Melissa has the newest Storybook Album design and she just ordered it this week. So she'll get it next month, yay. This is the photo of she and John that is currently on my homepage. And here's a nice email I received from her today:

Liz,
John and I are so happy and excited about our album. We can’t wait to get the book to share with our family and friends. You all did such a wonderful job and everyone has said how pleasant and wonderful you all were to everyone at the wedding. Every picture was beautiful and breath-taking.

Melissa and John

I swear, I have the sweetest clients!!! Click here to see Melissa's album and here to see Carrie's album. And check back soon for the next album design.

And watch for a collage of their day soon!

Did you know?
Did you know that every Storybook Album I ever made is right here on the blog? That's close to 30 albums- all custom-designed to fit each couple's day.

Here is a Storybook with the reception on the Star. It was so romantic when Jim surprised Erin by wearing his military uniform!

And a Storybook with a red theme-- starting with the trim on Alanna's dress and all the decorations at The Grand.

Booked another wedding!
Heather and Dathan are planning an absolutely GORGEOUS day and I feel lucky to be a part of it. Heather has been reading the blog for a few months now and I'm sure is on her way to being a Blog Addict like so many of my brides! Watch for their downtown engagement shoot sometime this Spring.
Craig & Carrie's Storybook Album is here!
They have been married less than three months and I bet they are thrilled to have their album so soon. I know they will show it off to everyone--- of course!

Their cover photo is so cool- on the dance floor enjoying their First Dance!

The gift exchange before the ceremony. Craig is s-o-o-o romantic! He gave her a diamond necklace and a photo album to capture their journey together.

The ooh & aah page. This is Middletown Christian Church.

See the rest of their album here.
