New Storybook Album Design!
Here is Holly & Brad's bright-as-punch album! It is vibrant, fun, and totally captures their bond and the happy mood of the day.

I want you to know that I design these albums without input from the bride and groom. On the wedding day, I keep my eyes open and soon learn which moments are most precious to the couple. Truly, I put my heart into these albums and aim really high to be sure I please my clients. Anyway, I've been doing it this way for nearly 3 years and my clients just LOVE it!

I save them the hassle of trying to pick out pictures and then trying to visualize how it would go in an album (I went to art school so that really helps me in layout and design). And of course my clients are free to make changes to my designs. At least this way, I can get them started and then they can do what they wish.

But you know what? Few people make substantial changes! How cool is that? Holly and Brad made three photo swaps and that was it. Since like 95% of people love them as they are, it makes me feel I must have found my true calling!!!

Be sure to check out this newest Storybook Album design!

Ashley & Eric's Storybook Album
They picked up their album and they were thrilled! Check out that cover-- won't that look great on the coffee table? I was so happy with their album that I wanted to keep it as a sample! But, I love them all. Confession: I actually look at each album over and over!!!

I'm so lucky to have such fabulous clients. It seems all the ones that book me love pictures, love creativity, and are the nicest people!!! That sure makes album design a pleasure.

Happy Anniversary to Becky & Jim!
Where does the time go? It seems just yesterday that I had the honor of shooting Becky and Jim's wedding. In addition to capturing the joy of their union, I also documented the special bond that Becky shares with Jim's son, Andrew. I hope they took time on their anniversary to get their Storybook Album out and re-live their wedding day!

Louisville wedding photography, Caren & Robbie
Lovely light coming in from the stained glass...
Robbie gave her a bracelet that matched her necklace...
This little cutie seems to have a liking for jewelry already!
Lots of happy tears before the ceremony. That's Caren's mom, dad, and grandmother. Just before then, her future mom-in-law hugged her and thanked her for making Robbie very happy. Awwww.
Last minute look between father and daughter...
A tearful moment.
The happy couple!
The wild and crazy wedding party!

I do custom-framing!
I will happily frame any Liz Image photo. I have a complete framing room with mats, wood and metal frames. This is the photo I framed for Dana's mom. It looks absolutely magical in that frame. Here's what she had to say:

I absolutely love my album. It is perfect. I love my picture also. My husband was blown away. He thought the picture was awesome. He had no idea what it would look like. He immediately put it on the wall and just stared at it. You are a great photographer and thank you so much for capturing this photo for Dana's wedding.

Pam
My snuggle-puppy!
He likes to sit on my lap each night and get some lovin'.

Booked another wedding!
Welcome to Christina and Jed, who checked my schedule before locking in their date. That's always a good thing to do because I limit the number of weddings I do each year. Be sure to check my availability as I am booking up fast.

Christina is Brittany's sister, who got married earlier this year. I always love it when I walk into a wedding and see familiar faces!

Happy First Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to Rebecca & Jeremy, who were married one year ago. Such an incredibly sweet couple. During the dinner, they took the time to personally thank each of the vendors for helping with their wedding-- how nice is that?

Hope you guys have your toes in the sand somewhere.... And thanks for sending me Ashley & Eric!

Louisville Wedding Photography, Kelly & Lonnie
And did I mention that both she and Lonnie wore Chuck Taylors? Can we just decide right now that this is going to be a fun day?!
When Kelly checked into the hotel the day before her wedding, this is the room key they gave her, how perfect!
Somebody is excited!
Kelly is so beautiful, I loved taking her picture.
Having fun with her brother and sister.
Lonnie and the guys were just crazy. That's Jay on the left, I photographed his wedding to Tiffany in 2006.
The advantage of having long lenses and quick reflexes. Love this tender moment.
Can't you just feel their chemistry?
Another one of my rings-in-flowers shot. Flowers by one of my favorite florists, Lloyds.
Enjoying the toast at Claudia Sanders Dinner House.
Getting cake-cutting advice from the crowd. Yummy cake by Mert's.
Kelly & Lonnie booked me back in March 2007 (thanks Jay & Tiffany!) and it has been such a sweet journey getting to know them both ever since. When Dani and I left at the end of the day, we were touched by how many people came up to say thank you. Everyone was so grateful for all we do. WE didn't want the day to end!!! And it's easy to see why Kelly and Lonnie are such a warm loving couple: they both come from such amazing families!!!

Have a great time in Hawaii, you two. Aloha!

Friday's post
Ok, I guess I'm just a big tease! I'm just so excited about my post this Friday-- it will be images from Kelly & Lonnie's wedding. It was an amazingly fun day and I can't wait to tell you all about it. The day was full of really cool details- like these Chuck Taylors that the guys wore!

The ring shot!
Everybody asks me if they can have a detail shot of their rings in the flowers. I'm such a girly-girl and love flowers, bling, pretty colors, etc-- so I have fun with this shot every time.

I believe in having the right equipment for the job therefore I have a special close-up lens that I only use for this shot. ---Another reason why it's worth it to hire me ;-)

So this is the ring shot from Hannah & Michael's day. Aren't the flowers pretty?

Happy Anniversary to Holly & Dustin
They didn't have a lot of time to plan but everything came together for them. They had an absolutely GORGEOUS ceremony. And I was in heaven because not only was it a beautiful location, but Holly & Dustin really wanted a lot of romantic photos. I just have to say, I'm all about romantic pictures!!!

Holly & Dustin met years ago and then lost touch with each other. When they finally found each other it was clear they knew they were meant to be. Awwww! Happy Anniversary!!!

And they are also on my home page this week!

Hannah & Michael are married!
Hannah gave the girls these great bracelets-- they have their names on them! Flowers by Mills and Young.
They chose to get married in Michael's parents' backyard-- isn't it amazing?
What a good looking wedding party! And they were just the nicest people~~~
A sweet and touching moment when Hannah sang to Michael during their First Dance.
I'm so glad everything turned out well for them. When I told Hannah a week before her wedding about Megan & Ryan losing both their reception and church venues due to the windstorm, she had a windstorm story as well. It seems Michael was helping clear up a limb at his parents' house and another limb fell on him. He broke two vertebrae and had to wear a back brace. But he got lucky and was still able to stand and walk for the ceremony. Whew! It could have been sooooo much worse!

I will be sure to show some more pictures from their pretty day soon!
