David & Megan's wedding last Friday....
Here's a collage of their wedding day last Friday. I will soon be working on their Storybook Album. Look at my entry below to see the latest album!

(Click to enlarge). The wedding was at Epiphany and the reception was at Hunting Creek Country Club.
New Wedding Album!
Here's another new Storybook Album. Jim surprised Erin by proposing to her on campus- in his military uniform. And surprised her again by wearing it on their wedding day. (He actually wore his tux for the before-photos and then changed right before the ceremony.)

Anyway, the story of their wedding day is all right here- I can't wait to see this printed into an heirloom-quality coffeetable book for them. (See more photos of the finished Storybook Album on my Rates page.)

Here's what Erin had to say after she saw her album online:

Liz,
I loved the album, and I can't wait to see all the other pictures you took! Everyone that has looked at your pictures online can't quit talking about them. We can't wait to come see them!

Shannon & Matt walked down the aisle yesterday!
It was easily the hottest day of the year-- it got up to 90! And yet they had too good of an outdoor location to pass up. I'm glad they went through with it (the back-up plan was to have the ceremony at the country club). It really wasn't bad as there was some shade. And look at the pictures!!!! I will post more later. Thanks to the parents, wedding party and especially the bride and groom for making this day so easy-- and fun!

My blog is addictive!
I'm going to be posting quite a bit this next month as this is the height of wedding season. I have 9 weddings in a 7 week May-June period. There will be a lot of photos, stories, moments, and of course albums. Subscribe to this blog by joining my list, at right.

Megan & David got married!
I cannot believe how fast their day flew by-- and those two just could not stop grinning. David surprised Megan with a gorgeous necklace-- and it went perfectly with her dress. After the ceremony they took a beautiful drive in the rumble seat of a vintage convertible-- all through the back roads of Anchorage.

And it was so great to see everyone stop and honk and wave at them! It will probably take the whole time they are in Aruba just for me to go through their pictures!!! Anyway, here are a few right now:

Oh, and a big 'Thank you' to my assistant Pinkie for going above and beyond the call of duty: she stuck her head and camera through my sunroof to get this shot as we followed them!!!

Rave reviews for the Storybook Album!
Remember Tara & Froman? I blogged about them in February-- they were the first ones to get a Storybook Album -- I designed it for them as a surprise. Tara has been showing her finished album around to friends and here's what she emailed me today:

Liz!

I need to tell you . . . the photo album has been a HUGE hit! Everyone loves it. They think it is so creative and unique and that you did a wonderful job catching Froman and I!!!

Thanks again.

Tara.

The Storybook Wedding Album
The storybook album is real! I know I have been showing them online but it is also an actual album that you get to keep.

Here are the specifics:

The storybook album is an heirloom quality coffee table album custom designed for you. Each album is handcrafted and comes with a glove leather cover of your choice of color. The book opens flat, has heavy non bendable pages and features panorama images across every page. Since each album is custom, you can choose to add text such as your vows to a page. This is truly a memory book to last a lifetime. Click here to view a complete Storybook Album.

It's engagement-session season!
Now that the weather is nice, it's time to get engagement pictures. I had two sessions today. Each engagement session includes a one-hour photo session in the park, a change of clothes if desired, 4x6 proofs in a proof book, 100 personalized wallets and a custom-framed and matted 11x14. The 11x14 can be upgraded to a 16x20 and if you like, I can leave the glass off the frame so the wedding guests can sign the mat. I also can travel for engagement photo shoots at the location of your choice. For the second one, we did engagement sessions at the park, and then went to the river to get the Louisville skyline.

Christopher & Jennifer got married yesterday!
The day went really well. I thought it might rain before the ceremony, but the weather held off so they could get married outside. Jennifer was positively radiant all day-- and seemed to have no idea how AMAZING she looked!!! Here are a few pictures that caught my eye:

The flowers came from Country Squire and the wedding and reception were at the Conrad Caldwell House.

Jim & Erin's wedding photos
I am SO happy with Jim & Erin's wedding photos-- I bet it will take me some time to design their storybook album as I know I will have a hard time choosing! But it will be fun to make and I will post it here when it's finished. (Click here to see my newest Storybook Album)

Jim & Erin kicked off the wedding season for me and I have at least one wedding a weekend from here on out. So I am going to be busy-busy-busy!

Here's their collage. (Click to enlarge.)

"One more!"
Ok, I just couldn't resist adding one more image from yesterday. I think this just sums up the whole day. I will have their collage done in a few days, so check back later to see it.

Jim & Erin are now Mr & Mrs!
That's right, they tied the knot today. Jim surprised Erin by wearing his Marine uniform-- which is what he wore when he proposed. After the ceremony, they celebrated in style on the Star of Louisville. Here's a sneak peak at their pics~~~

The latest Storybook Album is complete!
Whew! I finally finished Michele & Jeff's wedding album. It was really hard because I wanted it to be just right. Yet, it is SO rewarding when I get emails like this:

Liz,

I absolutely love the custom-designed album! It really is beautiful. I started to cry just viewing it online. I could not have designed anything better myself. I really cannot say enough about it. Please let me know what I need to do as far as ordering photos and what not. And again, the album is perfect.

Jeff and I truly enjoyed working with you and Dani as well. It was great day and would not have been the same without you.
