I've posted their guest book design, then the finished book, so now here it is signed. This really is a beautiful keepsake for the couple!

New Storybook Album!
Ah, here is Rachel and Anthony's Storybook Album. I received SO many comments about this lovely wedding-- and all the beautiful umbrellas Rachel and the girls had. I'm pleased with how the umbrella page came out! Rachel and Anthony are thrilled with their album and will get it before Christmas--yay!!!

I love that I have a custom frame shop and can help my clients pick out frames and mats for their big prints. Here is Nicole and Jeff's 11x14 all framed and ready to go. I even have floor and table easels they may borrow to display their pictures at the reception! Their wedding day is almost here-- I can't wait!!!

Welcome to Andrea & Nathan, my newest clients. Andie booked me after talking with me on the phone about their wedding plans and photography expectations. She lives out of state and knew she needed to book me before someone else did. A while ago I had a bride who lived in Germany book me via email. It's so great that it all can be done even if you live far away.

Another New Guest Book Design!
Since I make these in Photoshop, you can have just about any border color/background options-- and even have lines or no lines on the pages. This is Nicole & Jeff's Guest Book design with the pretty teal and ivory pages. They chose the black leather cover-- it's gonna look sharp!

New Storybook Album!
I love that each wedding has its own vibe! That's why the Storybook Albums are so much fun to make~~~! This is Allison & Shane's Storybook Album. Their day had an "Old Hollywood" feel to it, don't you think? Love it!

The Guest Book!
I just wanted to show you Beth and Erich's custom guest book. The books come with red, navy, black or chocolate covers. And the names or wedding date can be embossed on the front in gold or silver. Since I make the pages in Photoshop, the backgrounds and borders can be practically any color. I've made them with all sorts of colors~~~ Then the guests sign with a Sharpie of any color.

And it's nice to have your engagement pics in a book to keep!

I've designed over 100 of these albums-- each one totally custom without templates-- and I'm still SO excited about how unique each one truly is. This is LaShonda & Gary's album and the design of each of these 4 pages I've NEVER done before! I truly create the albums around the day. That's why each one is as unique as the day itself!

What is cooler than having the guests sign a photo album with YOUR engagement pictures in it? And since I design these in Photoshop, you can use your wedding colors, have lines or no lines, colored borders etc. The end product is an actual book that comes in a brown, navy, black or red cover. A great keepsake-- plus it's fun to have your engagement pics in an album! I'll be sure to post pics of Beth & Erich's guest book in action on their big day!

Wow, so theirs makes two backyard weddings I did in a row last year. (See Megan & Ryan's here). It just goes to show you how beautiful an outdoor wedding can be-- even if it's in your own yard! Congrats to Hannah & Michael in their first year of wedded bliss!

Traditional parent albums!
I offer parent Storybook Albums (custom-designed so it is not a clone of the bride and groom's) AND I offer traditional matted albums. This is one of the matted parent albums from Kimberly and John's wedding. This is the first time someone ordered the pearl and gold combination. I didn't think I'd like it-- but doesn't it look sharp! I think gold may be making a comeback....

Happy Anniversary to Megan & Ryan!
Yup, they were the ones who had BOTH the church and the reception cancel on them just 3 days before the wedding! That was because the wind storm had knocked out power to much of Louisville. Their story had a happy ending in that everyone pulled together and made it happen--and they had a fairytale cermony in Megan's parent's backyard.

I saw Megan and Ryan the other day and they are doing great. In fact, Megan is shooting with me now! I like that I keep in touch with so many of my past clients. If you are one of them, be sure to drop me a line and let me know how you are doing. Or friend me on Facebook!

Yup, these are more than just slideshows-- the Storybook is an actual album, too! Becky and Steve's day was extra special in that it was their 10 year vow renewal. When you view their album you will see the extra pages I designed to include their three kids who were a big part of the day!
It was VERY inspiring to shoot Becky & Steve's wedding-- they've still got it after 10 years of marriage! So, even if you've been married for years, you too can have a renewal and get your own Storybook Album!

It's exciting to show you all these new Storybook Album designs. As you know, each one is as unique as the day itself--- and my clients don't have to be bothered trying to make their album. I do all the picking and designing for them and then they have the option to make changes. Most of my clients love them just as they are-- isn't that awesome? Truly, I try to pay attention to what is important to the bride and groom that day and then I put those things into the album.

Vicki and Eric's was all about pink-- I'm especially proud of this album! They love it, too, and approved it exactly as it is.

Yup, these Storybook Albums are more than just a fabulous slideshow-- you get a real album, too! These are top-of-the-line heirloom quality leather albums-- only the best for you!! I customize each album and for Christina and Jed, I matched the photo borders to the color of the day~~~

Another new Storybook Album!
This is Toni and Tobiah's album design-- what a fun one to make with their fabulous festive ---and huge--- wedding party!

I design these 'blind' in that I get no input from the couple. That's the way I've always done it and 95% of my clients love them just the way they are. Of course I'm happy to make changes, but isn't it great for my couples not to have the hassle of picking photos and trying to make an album themselves? I know it is more work for me to do it this way, but I think the results speak for themselves.

New Storybook Album!
This is Keleigh and Scott's fabulous Storybook Album. These albums are so fun to make and no two are alike. Yes, you get this slideshow, but the best news is that this also comes as a leather album with non bendable pages that open flat. These are some of my favorite two page spreads from the album, but be sure to check out the rest of it~!

Three photographers!
All my packages include two photographers but did you know you can add a third photographer? For Anna & Elliott's wedding there was myself, Megan, and Z. During the ceremony, Z went to photograph the reception tables and favors before any of the guests arrived. Later, while Megan and I were taking romantic photographs of the happy couple, he was covering happy hour at the reception. It was super-cool to be able to provide such complete coverage of the day. And here's the best part: BEING THREE PLACES AT ONCE when the bride comes down the aisle:

This is Sherry's photo from Brooke & Brian's wedding. The photo is a whopping 4 feet by 2 feet! It looks absolutely amazing. And the cool thing is that this is a photo from one of her parent album pages. What a great idea! I want to get some made to put on my wall-- collages are a great way to show off several photos all in one place~!

Yup, just finished framing another photo! I have a complete framing room and Laura and I carefully looked at all of the options before settling on this lovely grey combination for the mats. Doesn't it look great?

Kelly and Lonnie's parents have their Storybook Albums!
While I do offer traditional matted albums for parents, the Storybook Album is a great choice, too! You get more photos and a fresh updated look with the Storybook. And it is not a clone of the couple's album. Each parent album is custom designed around the parents' favorite photos.

They had a dramatic light e-session and everything went well--until we had a near-death experience! We almost got hit by a golf ball-- my first words were "Let's get out of here!" But soon we were able to laugh about it and the pictures were worth it~~~

We had a completely spontaneous engagement session where we went all around downtown scoping out interesting locations. It was so much fun to do a non-traditional session and explore all these cool places in downtown Louisville. They are planning an October wedding-- can't wait!

They got married in one of the prettiest places in Louisville: outdoors at the Hurstbourne Country Club. AND...it was only 70 degrees! Everything certainly went perfectly for them on their special day.

We started out at the hotel so I could get the all-important photos with Dena and her dog, Dozer! She's had him since she was a young girl....

Rachel's frame!
I was showing my next door neighbor my finished basement and as soon as I mentioned I do framing she got a twinkle in her eye.... I immediately fixed that! No... I do not do framing of posters or anything else. I frame only Liz Images photos so I can give you a finished product ready to hang in your home. I love to frame, picking out the mats and coordinating everything is fun, but I don't want to do that for a living~~~ I much prefer being behind the camera! So here's Rachel & Anthony's frame, all ready for signatures. Their wedding is coming up next week!!!

I met the happy couple in downtown Louisville and asked if they had a particular vision in mind. When they said no, I said I did. My vision was to have no plan at all. All I wanted to do was go where I had never been before. And just stop whenever and where ever I see something good!

New Storybook Album!
What a fun album this was to make! I actually hid something in the album that only the couple know about. I don't want to say anything more but you can't see it online anyhow-- so don't try! I like thinking about how only they know what it is and they can look for it each time they look at their album....

Hey Liz!!!

It seems like forever since we have chatted! I've been SUPER busy at work and so has Blake. Our careers are definitely taking up a lot of our time right now but we are not complaining with this economy. We actually feel very blessed. Hope you have been doing well, I look at your blog daily...STILL...I love it so much and feel so happy for the couples that are featured. I think back to our sessions with you and when you would post on the blog about us and how excited I got. I actually miss the planning process and I can't believe that it has been a year...well almost. ;) I wanted to tell you that we got your card in the mail the other day and it was sooooooo very sweet. THANK YOU so much for that, it means a lot to us. You are just the sweetest and the BEST! Sounds like you're very busy and booking up left and right. Keep it up girl! Miss you and love ya! Have a wonderful wedding season. :)

Toni & Tobiah are married!
It's always a good feeling the second the dress goes on....

Biggest wedding party EVER!
Ok, so last Saturday I shot a wedding that had the biggest wedding party I've ever shot. Toni & Tobiah broke the record by a couple people with their fun, festive wedding PARTY-- and I do mean PARTY-- that totaled 36 people!!!

Booked another wedding!

Louisville wedding, Keleigh & Scott
Keleigh and Scott were married at the beautiful St. Elizabeth's and the reception was at the Olmsted. A delightful couple and a delightful day! I knew it would be-- I photographed Scott's brother's wedding in 2007. Gorgeous-gorgeous pictures...can't wait to show them off. Stay tuned for their one-of-a-kind album!!!

Rachel & Anthony's Louisville engagement session
I LOVE spontaneity and think the best pictures come from being aware of the opportunities all around us. So, I arrived early for this e-session and spotted a few old Model-T type antique cars cruising by. Well...naturally I flagged one down and asked where they were headed!!! And so aren't the cars the perfect backdrop for Rachel and Anthony's Derby attire? We had a great-- adventuresome-- session. I will have to show more pics soon....

And Rachel and Anthony are getting married in Illinois in the summer so I will be traveling to shoot their wedding. Can't wait!!!
