Nicole and Jeff's wedding reception was the first one I've seen to have a Photo Booth! It sure was a lot of fun for the guests-- especially since Magbooth provided props!capturing all the emotion of the bride & groom's Big Day.

Nicole and Jeff's wedding reception was the first one I've seen to have a Photo Booth! It sure was a lot of fun for the guests-- especially since Magbooth provided props!
Ok, so here's what it looks like after everyone signed it. I know they will treasure their custom guest book (with THEIR engagement photos inside!) for years and years!
LaShonda and Gary's Album
Anna & Elliott's Album
Dena and Price's Album
Allison and Shane's Album
By the way, ALL of the Storybook Albums are on the blog! Just browse the archives to see~~~

This is Jenn and Jared's sweet album from their super-sweet wedding day! Enjoy~~
The reception was at the new Gingerwoods Event Hall. I love how Alicia included little Hawaii touches such as sea shells on the tables....
One of the wedding gifts was corn hole, one UK and one UL. They were personalized with their names and wedding date, too.
Naturally, the bride had to try it out! A lot of people played-- what a fun, laid back reception~~
Ok, and these are my new addiction: Hershey's macadamia nut kisses-- sold only in Hawaii. From now on I'm going to have it in my contract that all couples honeymooning there must bring me back an unopened bag! Yummy!

Nicole was relaxed and happy all day~!
My famous "huddle shot"!
The wedding party was fabulous~!
A great wedding party entrance-- what a way to kick things off!
This gal entertained everyone with her take on the Miley Cyrus song~~
Congratulations Nicole and Jeff! I can't thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your day. I will be sure to keep in touch with my progress on your photos-- AND your Storybook Album. I can't wait!

Here is another new Storybook Album, one that is sure to brighten your Monday! This is Anna and Elliott's custom album-- check out the paparazzi shot of them on the first page~~one of my favorites!! (Photo credit to my asst. Z)
They celebrate their first year in marriage this week--yay! Be sure to check out the fabulous Fall colors in their album!

It arrived just in time-- they are on their way from Colorado to move back to Louisville. I know they will be eager to display their album in their new home!

How about some of this juicy orange to brighten up your Monday? This is Dena and Price's lovely Storybook Album-- enjoy!
I've posted their guest book design, then the finished book, so now here it is signed. This really is a beautiful keepsake for the couple!

Ah, here is Rachel and Anthony's Storybook Album. I received SO many comments about this lovely wedding-- and all the beautiful umbrellas Rachel and the girls had. I'm pleased with how the umbrella page came out! Rachel and Anthony are thrilled with their album and will get it before Christmas--yay!!!
They saw each other before the ceremony, sweet!
Beth and Erich were SO fun on their engagement shoot- I just knew their wedding party would be festive, too!
Good times with the gals....
Isn't she lovely?
Gorgeous Fall colors in the flowers....
They thought they might forget to hold hands-- but they didn't!
After "I do" it's time to update Facebook to "Married"!!!
The day started out grey and dreary-- but the sun came out for them~~~
First Dance, at Oxmoor Country Club-- I love Erich's expression.
They had a fabulous day. Thanks to Brenda and Ben from Pottinger Photography in Cincinnati for your help!
I love that I have a custom frame shop and can help my clients pick out frames and mats for their big prints. Here is Nicole and Jeff's 11x14 all framed and ready to go. I even have floor and table easels they may borrow to display their pictures at the reception! Their wedding day is almost here-- I can't wait!!!

Nicole and Jeff are gearing up for their wedding next month. Here is their guest book all printed and ready to be signed!
With her two nieces...
She and Andrew chose to see each other before the ceremony, it was sweet.
I can't get enough of this picture~~~
I love all the details!
Flowers by Doozie's
Getting ready to walk down the aisle, thanks to second shooter Megan for this shot!
Getting married...at Oxmoor Country Club.
Yummy cake by Mert's Cakes
Enjoying the toasts.
It was such a pleasure to photograph Kimberly & Andrew's day! There are SO many good pictures. Can't wait to make their Storybook Album!
Yes, it's been a year already. I will always remember how much fun it was to go up to the top of Iroquois Park for romantic pictures. Their album was a joy to make- be sure to check out the jumping wedding party!

Laura has such natural beauty, doesn't she? She was so relaxed before the ceremony...
With her girls getting ready to walk down the aisle--love the dresses and flowers!
Another example of the benefits of two photographers! Laura actually had THREE Liz Images photographers for her day~!

Checking in with each other before their reception entrance....
Eric gave the toast-- which was more like a roast. Paybacks to Gehrig when he was best man at Eric & Ashley's wedding!
So Laura and Gehrig are married--yay!!! Their wedding was at the lovely Highland Baptist Church with the reception at the Old Medical Building. Stay tuned for their amazing Storybook Album!
OK, so where did this past year go? I can't believe it is Kelly & Lonnie's one year anniversary already. This time last year they were living it up in Hawaii!!! I so enjoyed getting to know both of them and am now keeping up with them on Facebook.

Since I make these in Photoshop, you can have just about any border color/background options-- and even have lines or no lines on the pages. This is Nicole & Jeff's Guest Book design with the pretty teal and ivory pages. They chose the black leather cover-- it's gonna look sharp!

I love that each wedding has its own vibe! That's why the Storybook Albums are so much fun to make~~~! This is Allison & Shane's Storybook Album. Their day had an "Old Hollywood" feel to it, don't you think? Love it!

I just wanted to show you Beth and Erich's custom guest book. The books come with red, navy, black or chocolate covers. And the names or wedding date can be embossed on the front in gold or silver. Since I make the pages in Photoshop, the backgrounds and borders can be practically any color. I've made them with all sorts of colors~~~ Then the guests sign with a Sharpie of any color.
The classic photo!
I love doing closeups of the rings....
The big moment!
Festive wedding party~~~
I love the intimacy in these two shots....
First dance~~~
A great toast-- and check out the little ringbearer already eating some cake!!!
Can you guess the song they're dancing to? I can still hear it in my head!!!

I've designed over 100 of these albums-- each one totally custom without templates-- and I'm still SO excited about how unique each one truly is. This is LaShonda & Gary's album and the design of each of these 4 pages I've NEVER done before! I truly create the albums around the day. That's why each one is as unique as the day itself!

What is cooler than having the guests sign a photo album with YOUR engagement pictures in it? And since I design these in Photoshop, you can use your wedding colors, have lines or no lines, colored borders etc. The end product is an actual book that comes in a brown, navy, black or red cover. A great keepsake-- plus it's fun to have your engagement pics in an album! I'll be sure to post pics of Beth & Erich's guest book in action on their big day!
Wow, so theirs makes two backyard weddings I did in a row last year. (See Megan & Ryan's here). It just goes to show you how beautiful an outdoor wedding can be-- even if it's in your own yard! Congrats to Hannah & Michael in their first year of wedded bliss!

I offer parent Storybook Albums (custom-designed so it is not a clone of the bride and groom's) AND I offer traditional matted albums. This is one of the matted parent albums from Kimberly and John's wedding. This is the first time someone ordered the pearl and gold combination. I didn't think I'd like it-- but doesn't it look sharp! I think gold may be making a comeback....

Yup, they were the ones who had BOTH the church and the reception cancel on them just 3 days before the wedding! That was because the wind storm had knocked out power to much of Louisville. Their story had a happy ending in that everyone pulled together and made it happen--and they had a fairytale cermony in Megan's parent's backyard.

Happy Monday, here's another totally-unique Storybook Album! I love designing these and love knowing that this is anything but a cookie-cutter album. Each one I create is as unique as the day itself. So, enjoy Betsy and Jason's Storybook Album~~~
My style is relaxed portraits such as this...isn't Jenn stunning?
A happy bridal party~~
Jenn's excited knowing she's just seconds away from walking down the aisle!
A quiet moment during the ceremony-- thanks to 2nd shooter Z for capturing these two shots!
I love capturing all the details of the day~~~
The reception was at Horseshoe in Indiana-- festive!
Jenn & Jared were treated to a surprise performance of her native Filipino dance called Tinikling.
If the dancers aren't quick enough they could get hurt!

It was VERY inspiring to shoot Becky & Steve's wedding-- they've still got it after 10 years of marriage! So, even if you've been married for years, you too can have a renewal and get your own Storybook Album!

It's exciting to show you all these new Storybook Album designs. As you know, each one is as unique as the day itself--- and my clients don't have to be bothered trying to make their album. I do all the picking and designing for them and then they have the option to make changes. Most of my clients love them just as they are-- isn't that awesome? Truly, I try to pay attention to what is important to the bride and groom that day and then I put those things into the album.

Yup, these Storybook Albums are more than just a fabulous slideshow-- you get a real album, too! These are top-of-the-line heirloom quality leather albums-- only the best for you!! I customize each album and for Christina and Jed, I matched the photo borders to the color of the day~~~

This is Toni and Tobiah's album design-- what a fun one to make with their fabulous festive ---and huge--- wedding party!

This is Keleigh and Scott's fabulous Storybook Album. These albums are so fun to make and no two are alike. Yes, you get this slideshow, but the best news is that this also comes as a leather album with non bendable pages that open flat. These are some of my favorite two page spreads from the album, but be sure to check out the rest of it~!

The bridesmaids dresses were nice, too!
I can't tell if Elliott is having fun here or not....
Taken right after they walked out of church as man and wife....
First time I've photographed a Rolls Royce.
The reception was at the lovely Jefferson Club.

Having THREE photographers was SO amazing!!! I will show you more from this day tomorrow, including a gorgeous birdseye view of Anna as she walks down the aisle to Elliott.

I had so much fun re-living Angela and David's day while I designed their one-of-a-kind album! I love how the custom blue borders on the photos really makes the pages pop!
This is Sherry's photo from Brooke & Brian's wedding. The photo is a whopping 4 feet by 2 feet! It looks absolutely amazing. And the cool thing is that this is a photo from one of her parent album pages. What a great idea! I want to get some made to put on my wall-- collages are a great way to show off several photos all in one place~!

And this is Lonnie's mom's album:

As you can see, they are both unique albums, as is Kelly and Lonnie's Storybook album!

I want to thank all my clients for giving me my busiest wedding season EVER!!! It's all I could do these past few months to get the pictures processed because I shot so many weddings in such a short period. And now I am happy to turn my attention to the lovely Storybook Albums.
I've been keeping in touch with them via Facebook and they've had quite the busy year, getting ready for their baby boy that they are adopting. Congratulations on that, and on your one year anniversary!!! They had a picture-perfect wedding at Gardencourt, be sure to check out their Storybook Album.

Had to put in an extra photo of the wedding party. After meeting Rachel and Anthony for their engagement session I just knew they would have a fun wedding party-- and they sure did!
Heartfelt toast by Best Man Reggie
Everybody danced and a good time was had by all~!
Rachel & Anthony had a fabulous wedding day in Illinois and the whole weekend was so much fun! Yup, that' right: I am available to travel to photograph your wedding!!! ...Book me now before I go international! ;-)
They are celebrating their first year of marriage-- congratulations, you two. They've had a hectic first year and only just ordered their Storybook Album. Can't wait for it to get here! (By the way, they are kissing in the rain in this picture-- so romantic!)

They had a dramatic light e-session and everything went well--until we had a near-death experience! We almost got hit by a golf ball-- my first words were "Let's get out of here!" But soon we were able to laugh about it and the pictures were worth it~~~

We had a completely spontaneous engagement session where we went all around downtown scoping out interesting locations. It was so much fun to do a non-traditional session and explore all these cool places in downtown Louisville. They are planning an October wedding-- can't wait!
I still remember the pretty colors and how nicely decorated their reception was! And those two were soooo easy to photograph! Check out their gorgeous album.
They got married in one of the prettiest places in Louisville: outdoors at the Hurstbourne Country Club. AND...it was only 70 degrees! Everything certainly went perfectly for them on their special day.
Check out the colors! Flowers by Lloyds.
Can't you just tell this is a a fun bunch??? Lots of laughs here!
Not to be outdone, the guys had some funny faces, too!
Right before Dad walks her down the aisle...

Two of several signature drinks, made especially for the day....
Got to work with my favorite videographer, Kay Rountree and saw another great cake by Geraldine of Artistry in Cake. And Brent with Sounds Unlimited Productions did a wonderful job emceeing the whole day~~~ great work, everybody!
Thanks also to assistants Megan and Z, allowing us to be THREE places at once!!! (And to give extra photos to Dena & Price~~!)
I was showing my next door neighbor my finished basement and as soon as I mentioned I do framing she got a twinkle in her eye.... I immediately fixed that! No... I do not do framing of posters or anything else. I frame only Liz Images photos so I can give you a finished product ready to hang in your home. I love to frame, picking out the mats and coordinating everything is fun, but I don't want to do that for a living~~~ I much prefer being behind the camera! So here's Rachel & Anthony's frame, all ready for signatures. Their wedding is coming up next week!!!
They are celebrating their one-year anniversary this week. Their one-of-a-kind Storybook Album happens to be the featured album on my home page~~~! Happy Anniversary, you two, and thanks again for sending your friends my way! I look forward to seeing you at a couple weddings this Fall!

The wedding and reception was at Culbertson West, flowers by Trish Satterly, cake by Betty Blackwell. Stay tuned for their retro-cool Storybook Album!!!
Do you know that I also do custom framing? I have a complete frame shop with metal and wood frames and all the mats. My clients order so many big prints and I like to give them a finished product ready to put on the walls.
Wow-- where does the time go? Be sure to check out their gorgeous one of a kind Storybook Album. Each album is heirloom quality, library bound, non bendable pages and comes with a leather cover. Stay tuned for more albums!
Look at her now-- doesn't she look so cute?
A big congratulations to Rebecca & Jeremy!
I posted their pics online recently and here's what Laura had to say about them:
A beautiful bride...
...and beautiful bridal party
Gary shares a light-hearted moment with the guys.
The Nicholas Room at Mastersons looked fabulous!
My first opportunity to shoot a dove release-- exciting!
LaShonda and Gary then took a ride down to St. James Court.
An emotional Daddy/Daughter dance!
Stay tuned for more pics!
What a fun-fun-fun and happy day those two had. I was so glad I was there to capture their day for them.
The colorful flowers were by Bud's in Bloom
Matt's dad had the biggest boutonnière I've seen!
Gorgeous ceremony at Hubers
Class Act Dj made for a festive dance floor and then....
...the guys started floor surfing!!!
Check back soon for more wedding pics!
What a sweet couple; they celebrated their first wedding anniversary last week. Be sure to check out their album which really shows off their cool wedding color!

I met the happy couple in downtown Louisville and asked if they had a particular vision in mind. When they said no, I said I did. My vision was to have no plan at all. All I wanted to do was go where I had never been before. And just stop whenever and where ever I see something good!
So ya know it's going to be a fun day when these are the bride's shoes!
And a fun bride would have fun friends, of course....
Sometimes it's not so fun to be a flower girl...
but most times it's really fun!
Having fun getting married~~~
The fun gang!
A fun moment during the first dance
More fun!
Yes, my job is fun-fun-fun! Stay tuned for more weddings, more Storybook albums and more fun!!!
