Happy Anniversary to Christy & Tristan
You know, not everybody has a full wedding and reception. But that does not mean they can't get a Storybook Album. Christy & Tristan got married on a Monday and I made up a custom package just for them. I was on site for less than two hours and was able to give them everything they were hoping for.

They had such a fabulous outdoor ceremony and I wish them all the best. Be sure to check out their gorgeous Storybook Album.

New Storybook Album!
Here is Kim & Blake's totally-custom Storybook Album. The final album will have a leather cover with a photo on the front and have sturdy nonbendable pages.

I really put my heart into these designs so that the album truly captures all the big moments of the day. I'm so lucky that designing comes easy for me because most couples tell me how much of a struggle it would be if they had to to do it. Kim saw the design for the first time when she came over last week and she was thrilled!!!

Happy Anniversary to Katie & Mike!
What a year it has been for them-- I heard they moved to the mountains of Colorado for his job. Married life can be full of adventure and I think it is so romantic when I hear stories of couples moving across country. I wish them all the best.

Why I don't have to do bridal shows...
I received this nice note from Dana's mom a few days after the wedding. How sweet is that? A long time ago I decided I'd rather wow my clients than do bridal shows. I felt that word of mouth advertising is way more powerful than any other kind! So now my business comes mostly from referrals-- awesome! Can't wait to start on Dana & Blake's Storybook Album!

Here is a sneak-peek at Matt & Alli's wedding day, many thanks to my assistant Pinkie for helping me last Saturday. There was SO much to photograph-- it really is such a bonus to have two photographers!

Louisville engagement session, dramatic light
Meet Kimberly and John, who laughed all through their engagement session last week! They are such a cute couple and I enjoyed how giggly they are when they are together. So happy just to be in each other's arms.... Awww. They chose the new Dramatic Light Engagement Session which is so much fun! For a Dramatic Light session, we just choose a time when the sun is low and look for cool lighting! It's a fun and spontaneous time. Happy Anniversary to Lindsey & Robbie!
What a happy couple and such a wonderful day they had. I photographed Lindsey's sister's wedding a few years ago and since then I done several weddings for both girls' friends. I feel like such a part of their very nice circle of friends and a part of the family. Last time I saw the girls' mom I teased her that I oughta just show up for Thanksgiving dinner!
So thank you so much for telling your friends about me including Katie & Mike, Jen & Dave, who married within the last year, and for Megan & Ryan who are getting married later this year.
