New Storybook Album Design!
Here is Alexandra & Micah's Storybook album. I design each one with no initial input from the couple and then let them make any changes. I like to just follow my heart when I make each album- and it seems that everyone loves them just like they are.

I'm always happy to make any edits, picture swaps, etc. Anyway, this is Alexandra's exactly how I first made it. (There was so much to put in there-- I love it!). Be sure to check back for their final design, which will include another page!

See the rest of their album here.

Got it!

Yup, I have the new iPhone-- yippeee! I didn't want to wait in line, so I waited a couple hours after release and then went to a phone store across town. Ten minutes later I walked out with the phone.

My current phone is so old (no texting, no browsing) that it will actually stop working at the end of next month. I will let you know how I like the latest-greatest thing from Apple~~~

Christy & Tristan got married Monday!
It was their anniversary and so what a perfect day for a wedding. And...we were at a photographer's paradise: the gorgeous Yew Dell Gardens.

Christy was calm and relaxed. No jitters here.

I caught her peaking at Tristan!

Their 'First Look' at each other. Christy was so breathtaking, I think Tristan was afraid to touch her!

A romantic moment...

With dad getting ready to walk down the aisle.

Holding hands at the altar.

Running off into the sunset!

Congratulations you two, you both were so fun to photograph. Can't wait to work on your Storybook Album. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Katie & Mike tied the knot on Saturday!
I have the best job in the world-- I get to be around happy people all day!!! Not only were the bride and groom all smiles, but so were the very fun and fabulous wedding party.

Lot's of laughter from the girls. I meant to say hi to another Katie, the third bridesmaid from the left. She was in Carrie & Craig's wedding in December. Hi Katie!

Madeline, the flower girl was just too cute!

Check out the guys. I'm just loving that khaki for a summer wedding.... All flowers by Country Squire.

Father Joe presided at St. Brigid-- I last saw him at Jessica & Jason's wedding.

Love this shot-- going to put it on my homepage this week.

A pinkie promise-- I don't know what it was about, but I would guess Katie was worried Mike might smash the cake.

Lots of laughter during the toasts!

Romance!

And more romance.... Hurstbourne Country Club is like a postcard!

This is June so there will be lots of new Storybook Album designs. Check back soon. And congratulations, Mike & Katie, have fun in California!!!

A custom Guest Book!
The newest thing-- this is the latest-greatest and the best-ever I have seen for guest books: A custom guest book with YOUR engagement photos in it! Thanks to Rebecca & Jeremy for suggesting I offer this-- I am always open to new ideas. I had a sample made and am selling a bunch of these books. Each one is 8x8 and has a chocolate brown or black cover with your names embossed on the front.

Since the pages are custom-designed by yours truly, there are endless possiblities: lined or unlined pages, solid black pages, pages in your wedding colors, etc. etc.!!!

Here is my sample guest book. I will show another design soon!
Booked two weddings yesterday!
Holly was the Maid of Honor at Karen & Greg's wedding on the 9th. Karen knew that Dustin was going to propose the next day, but she didn't let on. Holly & Dustin are planning an outdoor wedding in the Fall that includes a horse & carriage. When I took candids of the two of them at the wedding, they had such a warm glow about them. After hearing their story, I truly think they are meant to be.

Brooke and Brian were guests at Melissa & Josh's wedding last Friday, in fact Brian was one of the groomsmen. I saw them on the dance floor- they look so happy together. I enjoyed meeting Brooke and her mom and it sounds like the wedding day will be fabulous! Another outdoor wedding--- yay!!!

So, everyone, welcome to the blog! You just may become blog addicts like so many of my clients!!!

Lindsey & Rob got married on Saturday!
What a fun group of people-- the couple, their families, the wedding party, and the blokes from England!!! The day flew by so fast, I couldn't believe it. I photographed her sister's wedding so it was nice to see so many familiar faces. Here's a sneak peek of their day:

Lindsey looked absolutely radiant all day...

Here are the women of the family: Kristen (whose wedding I did in 2005), Nan, Lindsey, mom Cathy, and the other sister, Allison. Amazing flowers by Tracee Dore

Robbie and the guys!

I love her expression as she walks down the aisle towards Robbie.

Just moments after the ceremony....

Fun shots on the river!

The gorgeous Beaux Arts Room in the Henry Clay Building

How happy they are--! Cake by Mert's Cakes

A warm & sweet First Dance

Nan on the dance floor-- along with everyone else. The band was This, That and The Other and they sure got everyone moving!

Booked another wedding!
I seem to be very busy with bookings right now (must be all my newlywed brides showing off their Storybook Albums!).

So welcome to Christy and Tristan who are planning a gorgeous outdoor wedding. Theirs will be a small wedding with the reception at a later date. I'm always happy to customize my packages to fit the day. And so I was able to give them a special package with just a few hours coverage AND a Storybook Album.

Their wedding is next week-- be sure to check back for pictures from their garden ceremony!

Melissa & Josh got married Friday!
Someone said these two are a perfect example of 'true love' and I couldn't agree more. Ever since I did their engagement session, I have been waiting for their Big Day! Such a fun couple to photograph. Each time they get close to each other, Melissa dissolves into giggles and Josh grins from ear to ear!

We started at JR's Salon where all the girls got pampered: hair, manicures AND pedicures!

At Highland Baptist, we found some wonderful natural light.

Melissa was dazzling in her dress-- she could wear it on the Red Carpet!

The whole wedding party was so much fun! The guys were a blast!

Look at how high Josh jumped!

Checking out the rings just moments after the ceremony.

A sweet moment....

Did I mention how fun the wedding party was?

The reception was at the Speed Art Museum-- they rented the whole building- how cool!

I love this one of them just walking through the gallery.

Happy Anniversary to Lindsay & Mike!
Such a sweet couple...can't believe it has been a year already. They got married at Cooper Memorial Chapel, a great church to photograph.

Check out their Storybook Album here.

Booked another wedding for 2008
Holly & Brad are the newest couple to join the Liz Images family. They are smart to book early so they can relax and enjoy their engagement. I enjoyed meeting them both and look forward to their big day. Holly has chosen fabulous wedding colors-- fuchsia and tangerine!!

There's only one of me so be sure to check my dates booked to see if I'm available.

Wedding days are emotional!
A lot of what I do is about capturing moments. On a typical wedding day, the bride and groom and their families will feel joy, love, anticipation, nervousness, excitement, and more. And I see it as my job to capture what may be a fleeting expression.

A blink...a look...a moment...and then it's gone.

I'm working on Alexandra & Micah's pictures now. And I thought I would share with you some of the emotional moments of their day:

What a super couple they are. I can't wait to show them all their pictures! Check back soon for their Storybook Album. Theirs will be the next one I do!
