So did you know we do bridal sessions? What a great way to show off your dress-- and, like Kim, you can even save the photos as a surprise to your husband after the wedding. A lot of brides order a big print or two that I can frame for display at the reception. We can do traditional, fun, funky or whatever you wish!

Brooke and Brian have their Storybook Album
They received it in time for the holidays-- yay! What a gorgeous ceremony they had at Gardencourt-- and doesn't the black and white photo on the cover look good?

Each album is completely custom from the ground up, I don't use templates or anything like that. I let the wedding day be my guide in designing an album that captures the joy and the details of the day. The completed album is library bound with a leather cover that is available in many colors. Each page is non bendable and is protected so that this album will last from generation to generation.

Heather & Luke's frames

These both look so great-- the top one is a 16x24 photo and the bottom photo is a 20x24. It is matted with pink and navy, their wedding colors. One will go in the bedroom and one in the living room-- what great vibes!!!

Courtney & Curt's Storybook Album
I love the opening page-- be sure to see how the last page ties in perfectly with it. Also, this is the wedding where Curt jumped over Courtney as part of their First Dance routine. Check out their album-- love that they got it in time for Christmas!

And remember, each album is heirloom quality, leather bound, with sturdy nonbendable pages. This is the album that will be passed down for generations!

Doesn't it look awesome? This is a full image photo to capture their smooch at the stadium!

Holly & Brad have their album!
Theirs was the tangerine and fuchsia wedding. Those colors looked so good together that I surprised them when I designed the album by alternating those colors on the photo borders. Well, they loved it and I think you will, too.

Holly and Brad were thrilled to get their album before the holidays-- I hope they show it off to everyone!

Been busy framing!
It's so nice that I have a complete frame shop next to my studio. That way couples can pick out a frame to go with their big photo and have it ready to hang in their home. This is Anna and Elliot's 11x14 photo that I framed yesterday. You may not be able to tell from the photo but the second mat is the same purple as in her dress and his tie-- it looks super-cool! They plan to borrow one of my floor easels to display their photo at their wedding reception, how nice!

A new venue!
One of the many perks of being a wedding photographer is that I get invited to the Grand Openings of all the new places to get married or have a reception. Not too long ago, I went to Briar Rose Estate, which can host weddings and receptions. It's a lovely place with many possibilities!

Laura and Alan's Storybook Album
Life gets busy sometimes and that was the case with Laura and Alan, who got married last year. They wanted their album just right so they waited till things calmed down to finalize the design. It is absolutely gorgeous-- and they got in time for the holidays! (And don't you love the photo they picked for the cover? I think it's so sweet!)

Booked another wedding!
A big welcome to Laura and Gehrig who are planning a Fall 2009 wedding. It's never too early to book me as I can only do one wedding a day. Watch this space for their engagement session sometime in the Spring. Laura and Gehrig heard about me from Ashley and Eric who heard about me from Rebecca and Jeremy. Thanks everyone!!!

I'm back and well-rested!
Mom and I cruised the Queen Mary 2 again and we had such a fun time. She lives in Florida so it's nice that we can have this quality time together. On to the pictures:

The Queen Mary 2 is the largest ocean liner in the world. Here we are at our first port, the island of Curacao. I loved all the bright colors on the houses!
