Going on vacation
I'll be gone about 10 days and won't have internet access. I'm going on a cruise with my mom. Now's your chance to catch up on the blog. All 80+ Storybook Albums are here or in the archives. Check out how each one is as unique as the day itself!

Here are some of my favorite Storybook Albums from back in 2006 (click on their names to see the albums):

Get creative with me
I'm always happy to use my design skills on custom projects for my clients. Anna and Elliott asked me to design these oh-so-cool Save the Dates for them. They are 2 by 6 inches and about 300 of them will be mailed out by Anna in January. These are sure to be enjoyed by their friends and family. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

Another happy email!
This is Kelly's response to seeing all her photos online:

Hi Liz!

WOW! You're right, they are incredible. Lonnie and I looked through them last night & he got a little weepy all over again. To me, that just proves that you did an excellent job. Our day went so smooth & everything was so beautiful - you and Dani both captured our day magically!! I can't wait for my Mom & Dad to see these!

Thanks again, we'll talk soon!

Signature Frames
As you may know, I do custom-framing. A lot of times I will leave the glass off so the guests can sign the mat around the photo. Here are Ashley & Eric's and Megan & Ryan's.

Happy Email
I get so many happy emails-- this is the best job ever-- and thought I would share some with you. Here are Kim's comments after seeing Friday's post:

Liz!

Hello to you! I went on the blog this morning after seeing your email and can I just tell you even from the few pictures you have up, I was in tears at how well you captured the entire feeling of that day for John and I. When I saw the photo of my niece my eyes immediately started watering! You did such a great job capturing the feel of the church and the property, as well as the guys together, and how my girlfriends and I all feel about each other. I know I wasn't feeling well that day, but you did a perfect job catching only the best moments and for that, I thank you a million times over. I can't wait to see the others and get to ordering!!!!

Best wishes to you and Pinkie!!!

New Storybook Album!
What's so cool about these albums is that I design around the photos and the events of the day. I'm not using a template or anything like that. Everything is custom and as unique as the day itself.

This is Courtney & Curt's one-of-a-kind album. Like so many of my clients, they made ZERO changes to my design! Isn't that great that couples are spared the hassle of having to figure out their own albums? I do this every week and the key is I really pay attention that day to find out what moments are most important to the bride and groom.

Kimberly & John are Mr and Mrs!
The church just doesn't get any better than this.
Kimberly glowed with happiness all day--
She and the girls share a special bond.
And this cutie was ready for her close-up!
John looked quite relaxed...until
Until the guys tried to dunk him in the well!
And did I mention yet that the weather was perfect?
And that I just couldn't take a bad picture of these two??
So they had the perfect Fall day and the perfect chapel for the ceremony. I guess I am a full-service wedding photographer because when we first met I actually suggested Duncan Memorial! The reception was far too crazy for me to show pictures-- but let me just say that John's antics on the dance floor kept Kimberly laughing all night!

Booked another wedding!
A big welcome to Dena and Price, who are getting married next summer. I met with them and both sets of parents recently. I loved how one of the dads videotaped parts of the meeting- and even recorded me opening my front door and saying hello! It's great when parents understand how important photos and video and are in preserving memories. I sure look forward to working with everyone in July!

Be sure to check my availability to see if your date is still open.

Megan & Brad, newlywed session
Megan and Brad got married in Gatlinburg wearing blue jeans but decided soon after they wanted romantic wedding photos with a tux and gown. I tailored a special rate for them and we did the session on a recent Monday at Hurstbourne Country Club. Assistant Dani and I photographed the dress hanging up, Megan getting ready, a few family photos, and even a couple of them doing their champagne toast!

So if you are recently (or not so recently) married and don't have/don't like your romantic photos, contact me. And wouldn't a couples session make a nice anniversary gift to each other?

Louisville engagement session, Toni and Tobiah
What a happy couple-- these two kissed and laughed and kissed some more during their photo session!
Happy One Year to Michelle & Randy
What a beautiful wedding day Michelle and Randy had, I loved all the little touches that they included. They really planned their day to be special and meaningful. I especially loved when Randy serenaded her!

Southern Indiana wedding, Leighora & Brad
Leighora's dress was amazing!
Getting her dressed was a team effort...
...but Leighora's mom and the bridesmaids were up to the task.
And the results were stunning!
Flowers by Cannon's Florist in Clarksville.
Brad sure wears a tux well.
This is what happens when you let the guys go crazy~~~
Beautiful ceremony at 300 Spring.
Checking out the new bling.
Cake & catering by Savor This.
The happy couple were all smiles during their First Dance.
Leighora and Brad had such a sweet, romantic ceremony followed by an all out bash of a reception! Everyone was on the dance floor having a good time. Pinkie and I took tons of pictures and I will show more later. Special thanks to Dana who served as an extra pair of hands and as a bonus photographer!
