New Storybook Album!
Here is Barb & Larry's Storybook wedding album. Each album is completely custom, I don't use any album software or design templates because I truly want each album to reflect the specialness of the bride and groom. This one was a lot of fun to make!

Hurstbourne Country Club!
Tomorrow I will be shooting a wedding and reception at one of my favorite places, Hurstbourne Country Club. I've been their quite a bit. Here are three I did in less than a year:

Before then, it was Jen & Eddie's big day.

Three brides at the last wedding!
Last Saturday there were a total of three Liz Images couples: Michele & Jeff and Megan & David who married in 2006, and of course Stephanie & Danny.
Michele & Jeff's wedding was at Southeast Christian and the Olmsted. I noticed they held hands throughout Stephanie and Danny's ceremony, it was so sweet!
Megan & David's wedding was at Epiphany and Hunting Creek Country Club. They are expecting a baby next month, on their two-year anniversary. Congratulations you two!

Stephanie and Danny's Louisville wedding
Wow-- I'm still smiling from their day...! Stephanie and Danny were such a joy to photograph and it was so great just watching them experience their day. They did not want the party to stop so they extended the reception. Assistant Dani and I were so flattered that (of course!) they wanted us to stay right till the very end so we could capture the complete day for them.

The colors were an amazing blend of meadow green, espresso brown and pink.
A beautiful ceremony at St. Albert the Great.
At Churchill Downs, where the guys promise not to drop Stephanie.
And they keep their word!

Derby Week is almost here!
How appropriate that I was at Churchill Downs Saturday- where I photographed Stephanie & Danny's big day. I just posted this photo on my homepage and will show you more photos from their spectacular day later in the week~~~

Framed!
Just about every wedding or engagement session I do someone will order a 16x20 or larger. I offer custom framing that I do myself and I love to help with the mat and frame selection. Here is the frame for the 20x24 Brooke's mom ordered.

Booked another wedding!
A big welcome to Keleigh and Scott who are getting married in May 2009. They came to me through a three-way referral so I'm VERY glad to know that I have some fantastic word of mouth out there! Be sure to see if your date is available. It's never too early to book your wedding photography.

Louisville engagement session in the park
Meet Kelly and Lonnie who are getting married this October. We had a perfect Spring day last week in the park.
They are going to do the new guest book that has really been wowing people. There is practically no limit to the style or color they choose for the design. I will be sure to post it here when it's complete.

It's engagement season!
Here are a few pics from Ashley & Eric's Louisville engagement session in the park. We had a GORGEOUS Spring day. They brought their cute little puppy for some pictures, too! And later, Eric overcame his fear of bees for the shot by the dogwood tree! Here are some of my favorites:

Booked another wedding!
My 2008 has been almost booked up since the beginning of the year. Now I'm getting calls for 2009. It's never too early to book your date. So a big welcome to Ashley & Terrence who are getting married in April "09. She has an amazing wedding dress and is getting married at one of my favorite places, too! Congratulations you two, and welcome to the Liz Images family!

Brittany & Jay's Louisville wedding
I so enjoyed getting to know them during their downtown engagement session and later designing their one-of-kind guest book. They had a great red & black theme going on that made their day extra-fun to photograph. And since they are both barbers, I can assure you that not a hair was out of place all day! In fact, everything went perfectly for them. And their reception was quite the dance fest- cause they had the best DJ ever! (Ok, I'm biased because he's the DJ I picked for my wedding!!!) The details: The ceremony was at First United Baptist and reception at Frazier Arms. The bride and bridesmaid dresses came from David's bridal. Louisville's best DJ was Jack Gill of Dance Party Unlimited 502.225.0236.

Here is Jen & Dave's Storybook Album. As you know, each album is completely custom-designed (my secret is that I am also a graphic designer) and tailored to the couple. The final product is a leather bound heirloom album with non bendable pages that open flat.
