Spring Flowers!
Here are some flowers from a Spring wedding I did. (I can't wait for Spring to really get here, can you tell?)
These flowers really made Jennifer & Christopher's Storybook Album pop!

Spring!
All this rain is making the flowers grow and the trees bud out. Here's a close-up I took today of the pear tree in my front yard.

They had a lovely Louisville wedding at The Olmsted and have been enjoying married life ever since!
As always, I was able to create their Storybook Album super-fast. They received it after being married only 2 1/2 months!

New Storybook Album arrived!
Shannon & Michael's gorgeous custom-designed album arrived Friday. I will let the pictures do the talking:
Each album opens flat, has heavy non bendable pages and many choices of leather for the cover. Shannon and Michael are sure to treasure their album for years and years! Stay tuned as I have a new design in the works for Jen & Dave....!

Spring 2008 will be great!
I'm looking at my calendar and I'm going to some awesome venues soon-- Churchill Downs, Frazier Arms, Audubon Country Club....

Happy Anniversary to Jessica & Ryan!
They were married on St. Patrick's Day last year and they truly embraced the theme with green decor and even surprised the guests with a performance by Celtic dancers. They had a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Farnsley-Moremen House in Louisville.

Another new Guest Book!
Here is Stephanie & Danny's custom guest book.... They chose the chocolate brown cover with their names in silver. I've seen guest books with paper pages, but these books have heavy non bendable pages so they will look good longer.

Jen & Dave's winter wonderland wedding!
Well first off, I have to say I had the BEST couple to get married on a snowy day. Louisville rarely gets snow that sticks around-- and maybe once a decade do we get over a foot of snow. I've been doing weddings full time for nearly six years and have NEVER had a wintery white wedding.... So, I was THRILLED to work with Jen & Dave who were all about capturing the snow on their special day. On to the pictures:

Their church was the Caldwell Chapel.
Jen wanted to get some outside pics with the snow-- can't you just tell she has a sunny outlook on life?
And with the girls-- it was 25 degrees!!! I don't even suggest we go outside in those kind of temps but I'm glad Jen wanted to do this-- and the girls were great!

Here's the best part: Jen saw her wedding ring for the first time when Dave put it on her finger. Awwww!

We took some romantic pics in front of the chapel and The Olmsted but I suggested they get IN the snow to really illustrate their day. They readily agreed:

Wonderful chain of brides
I love that my past brides tell everyone about me and I see so many familiar faces at weddings. I actually had THREE past brides at Saturday's wedding, how cool is that? The chain goes back to:

Sarah & Carl in 2004
Sarah's friend Kristen booked me for her wedding day in 2005. That's Kristen's sister Lindsey on second from the left. And Jen from this past Saturday is in the back on the right.
Here's Kristen with Ty, both were there Saturday. They didn't see each other before their ceremony but got to hold hands...
Katie (friend of Kristen's) & Mike got married in 2007 and it was great to see her again Saturday.
Lindsey & Robbie were married in 2007 also and both Dani and I got to chat with them a little the other night.
Lindsey told Megan (far right) about me, and I will be photographing her wedding in the fall. So the beat goes on!!!

A sneak-peek at the snow wedding pictures....
I haven't looked at them all yet, but here are a couple images from Saturday's snow wedding. It was at Caldwell Chapel in Louisville. I was SO glad it wasn't in New Albany or Clarksville as there was a declared "State of Emergency" in Southern Indiana. That means only emergency vehicles allowed on the roads.... So-whew- that was a close call!!! Everyone will always remember Jen & Dave's wedding day and I was sure to capture a lot of snowy details. Check back soon for more pictures.

Snow Day!
Here's a shot of my little sled dog, Mango, playing in the snow late this afternoon. I am so excited to be photographing a winter wedding tomorrow!!! Be sure to check back soon for snowy romantic pics!

New Guest book Design!
Here is Brittany & Jay's awesome custom guest book with their engagement photos in it! Can you tell that they are UofL fans??? I love that their guest book is so unique. When I showed it to them yesterday they talked about how they will keep it out for a long time. The guests are going to sign in silver pens and I think it's really going to look sharp.

Electric Blue!
I love checking out all the details of each wedding-- the flowers, the dresses, the wedding gown, etc. Here are some bridesmaids dresses that had all the guests talking. Love that electric blue.
I surprised Jay & Tiffany by digitally including the dress fabric into their album design (they loved it!). Check it out here.

New Storybook Album!
Here is Amanda & Shawn's custom-designed Storybook Album. These albums have leather covers in your choice of color, non bendable pages, and open flat. They will be passed down the family and cherished all along the way! As you know, each album is custom-designed -- I don't use any templates or anything like that-- so each album is as unique as the day itself!
