Melissa & John's Storybook Album is here!
And they've been married LESS THAN THREE MONTHS!!! I hear many, many stories of brides having to wait up to a year to get their album. That is just not acceptable to me. I am recently married and I KNOW the importance of getting that wedding album! (Plus, I rely on my brides to tell their friends about me so I always want to wow my clients!!!)
Here's a peak at the latest arrival:
Can't you just feel the behind-the-scenes excitement here?
The joy of coming down the aisle!
Romance!
Lots of hugs and laughter at the reception.
Be sure to check out Melissa & John's Album.

The new photo on my front page
I change the photo on my Home Page almost every week. This is what I have this week-- it is from Jennifer & Eddie's wedding earlier this month. I will be working on their Storybook Album design after Sonya & Brian's. So much going on-- be sure to check the blog as I will be posting often!

New Storybook Album Arrived!
Here is Sarah & Craig's wedding album-- and before their 4 month anniversary, too! They chose the deep green cover to go with their Christmas season theme- it looks very classy.
I really pride myself in getting these albums out as quick as possible. I hear horror stories all the time about brides waiting MONTHS just to see their proofs! And even over a year to get their wedding album. That is just unacceptable to me. Another of the many benefits of hiring a fulltime wedding photographer (as in me) is that I depend on word of mouth and I take my business very seriously. In other words, I aim to please!

Mindy & James Engagement Session
Mindy & James have been together since they were 12 years old-- and it shows. They are SO comfortable with each other and look very happy together. During the session James got just a little bit of dirt on his hands and he carefully to cleaned it off before putting his arms around Mindy-- what a gentleman!
The session was at his parents' house in Henryville, Indiana (yes, I can travel for you). They have lots of acreage with great photo ops. As I was editing their photos, I imagined many of them ending up in frames on the wall! Here's a peek:
I only have a few openings between now and when it gets too hot outside. Call or email me to book your session.

Happy Anniversary to Michele & Jeff!
What a great wedding day they had- hard to believe it has been a year already. We started pictures at Michele's parent's home and I love this shot where I caught Michele showing her maid of honor the ring she's going to give Jeff. Later, at the church Jeff happened to show his best man the ring he's giving to Michele. How cool is that?
Such a sweet couple who are so in love! See their Storybook Wedding Album here.

Back from Florida!
I saw my family plus my dearest friends, Helena & Joanne. I've known Joanne since middle school and Helena since high school. The first day we met at Joanne's new home in Weeki Wachee. It is a house on stilts that is right on the water. Later that day we kayaked with Joanne's husband and another couple visiting from Germany. The area is so b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!! I could never live there- I would be out on the deck all the time and not getting any work done, hee-hee.
Here we are the next day being such typical women- getting pampered. And later we went shopping (of course!)
That's me with my niece & nephew Kaitlyn and Kevin doing our best monster faces! Later that day the whole family went to the beach. It was a great vacation and I enjoyed every minute of it!

Debbie & Bjorn's Amazing Storybook Album
You know how some artists will say that inspiration just came to them? That's how I feel about this album-- it seemed to design itself. I was really into the beauty of the day- and not just the setting and decorations- but Debbie & Bjorn's special bond. For the words, on the front page I wrote, "Debbie & Bjorn, A Love Story" and the last says "And our journey continues..."
Don't they look happy and content before the ceremony? Not nervous at all!
I call this the 'ooh & ahh' page when one photo spreads across the book.
Love the magic between these two!
Some of the magnificent details that inspired the album.
See the rest of their album here.

Jessica & Ryan's Storybook Album!
They just got married on St. Patrick's Day- and here's their album design already. Jessica is going to swap out some pictures and then will order it next week. So they should have their album before their three month anniversary-- how awesome is that?
I loved working on their album- there were so many fabulous pictures to choose from. This is the one that had a great St. Paddy's Day theme throughout. When you look at the whole design, you can really see it. Plus, in the romantics you can see what a great match Jessica & Ryan are. It was really a joy for Dani & I to photograph their day.
Love-love-LOVE the getting ready stuff- and she had the perfect shoes!
The gals were so much fun- and what great colors.
Check out the guy shot- it should be on an album cover or something.
Celtic dancers- what fun!

I got a new computer!
Remember how my Mac G5 died in mid-Feb? It was in the shop forever and came home twice only to die again. It was less than two-years old and the best of the best at the time. Well, the people at Apple were phenomenal. They replaced it with the current version which is the Mac Pro. I added on more ram and processor speed-- and let me tell you-- it smokes!!! For you techies: two 3G dual-core Intel processors and 4G ram! This will only help me in designing the Storybook Albums. I will be posting the latest album tomorrow so be sure to check back!!!

Jennifer & Eddie are now Mr & Mrs (Saturday)!
The first time Eddie saw her, he knew he would marry her!!! How awesome is that? Her parents were practically bursting with happiness yesterday. They have been married for 31 years and they are clearly so in love. Jennifer & Eddie surprised them at the reception with a dedication dance in their honor- how sweet! Jen was as relaxed as could be all day and is SO gorgeous in her dress! And I love the bridesmaids colors. After the ceremony at Southeast Christian we did get some outside pictures. It was COLD but we weren't out there very long. And we got some romantic photos on the spiral staircase inside Hurstbourne Country Club- those two look so good together! Flowers were by Lloyds and cake by Bakery Down The Street. Notice the take-homes were jelly beans!

Sonya and Brian's Wedding Day (Friday)!
Wow- what a fabulous evening it was. Sonya was absolutely stunning and Brian so handsome. They both are SO in love and they've been together for years. They practically melt when they are together-- awwww. The families on both sides were very sweet and made Pinkie and I feel so welcome. Kimchi!
The wedding and reception were at the Olmsted and here's some of their many pics. Can't wait to look at them all! Dixie Florist did a great job with the bouquets and decorations. The cakes were by Christis Cakes-- check out the poker table groom's cake below. The reception was f-e-s-t-i-v-e to say the least! That's the guys singing "You've lost that loving feeling." I will be posting more pics from their day soon, plus their Storybook album! So check back soon!
