Back in the Windy City!

That's right, I went back to Chicago. With my busy season coming up, I figured I would get out of town while I had the chance. Besides walking around a lot with my camera, I also rented a bike and carried my camera in a backpack! I enjoyed very yummy Greek food- I love gyros!- ate lots of ice cream, and went to an art museum. These two pictures are at Millenium park- a very cool place.



I'll be working all Labor Day weekend to prepare for my September and October weddings. I have 8 weddings in a row coming up. Watch this space for the latest pics!

Jonathan & Sarah are now Mr & Mrs!
They got married yesterday in an outdoor ceremony. Thank goodness for the nice breeze-- it turned out to be a pretty day.













































They gazed into each other's eyes their entire first dance- it was so romantic! Now they are off to Vegas for their honeymoon.

Here's another Storybook Album Design!
Jay called me this morning and told me how much he and Tiffany love their design. I customized it just for them. The 'ribbon' on the first and last pages is actually from the bridesmaids dresses, and the quotes are from their ceremony. The last quote is John 15:12, and the first one about "Grow old with me.." is from a John Lennon song. Click here to see the newest design.

Amy & Jose!
Amy & Jose got married yesterday at the Peterson-Dumesnil House. They had a beautiful ceremony on the wrap-around porch. I loved hearing the story of how they met.

There are so many favorites I had trouble getting it down to these 4. The wedding party was all about the kids-- there were four little girls and three little boys-- they looked so adorable! I will post more photos from their picture-perfect day later.

Wedding Photos from last Saturday!
Angela and Andrew were such an easy-going couple. Angela looked stunning no matter what she was doing and Andrew was all about fun and clowning around. The day flew by and a few hours later I saw them on the highway miles from Louisville. I bet they thought I was following them to get more pictures!!! Here's a sneak peak- I will post more from their day later.







The flowers looked great with the dresses-- note the cool necklace, too!

Chicago Pictures!

We had a great time and the weather was awesome. We stayed right in the center of town and walked everywhere. We went to Navy Pier, Millenium Park, rode the L train, went atop the John Hancock building and walked the Magnificent Mile. Along the way, Steve visited every bakery, and I checked out all the ice cream I could find!

This really captures the feel of Chicago-- there were great restaurants everywhere and so many of them let you eat outside (did I mention the weather was perfect?). Here we are enjoying Roy's-- we love that place!

I'm on vacation this week. Steve (my hunky husband), the two awesome stepsons and I are going to Chicago. I will post pictures when I return.

New Storybook Album Arrived
Chris & Jennifer's Storybook Album is here. They just got married in May and already their album is complete. I know they will be eager to show it off. Each album has a genuine leather cover, laquer-protected photos, hard (non-bendable) pages, gilded edges, and comes with a protective pillowcase and box.
